A meeting in Sana’a to discuss mechanisms of communication with the international community to cancel the decision to raise customs duties

A meeting in Sana’a discussed the effects of the decision to raise the price of customs tariffs and the role of all government agencies and the private sector in mobilizing international organizations and world public opinion to pressure towards canceling this decision targeting the Yemeni people.

The meeting, which included Ministers of Industry Abdel Wahab Al-Durra and Minister of Foreign Affairs Hisham Sharaf and Transport Amer Al-Marani, reviewed the mechanisms of communication with the United Nations, international organizations and the international community to clarify the catastrophic effects of the decision to raise the price of customs tariffs, which will cause great harm to consumers’ economies and exacerbate their suffering due to the resulting increase in costs.
