A meeting in Sana’a , which included Transport Minister Zakaria Al-Shami and Presidential Advisor Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Tarib, discussed the achievements of the Ministry of Transport and its sectors and the affiliated bodies and institutions during the past period.
The meeting, in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for the Land Transport Sector at the Ministry of Transport, Abdul-Malik Ali, reviewed the developments taking place in the land, sea and air transport sectors to thwart the aggression’s plans aimed at paralyzing this vital sector.
Al-Turb praised the steadfast leadership and cadres of the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated bodies and institutions despite the difficulties and scarcity of capabilities.
He noted the readiness of Sana’a International Airport and its ability to receive civil and commercial aviation traffic, despite the repeated targeting of the airport since the beginning of the aggression.
While the Minister of Transport affirmed that the transport sectors would continue to develop and modernize and keep pace with changes despite the aggression and blockade
at the meeting, the advisor to the Supreme Political Council granted the Minister of Transport a certificate of appreciation for his patriotic and national efforts in defending the homeland and combating aggression in thwarting his plans seeking to paralyze the movement of the various transport sectors.
