A workshop in Sana’a on the implementation of the plan of the Civil Aviation Authority for the past year

The second workshop was held in Sana’a on the completion of the work plan of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology for the past year, organized by the General Administration of Planning and Quality in the Authority.

The workshop aimed to develop solutions to the problems facing the Authority’s sectors and to take the necessary measures to contribute to the modernization and development of performance.

The workshop discussed the work plans of the sectors and public administrations of the authority and the problems and obstacles they faced, reviewing the achievements made during the past year in light of the conditions of aggression and blockade that caused obstruction of modernization plans, since the work of the authority is professional and technical linked to international conditions and requirements and the International Civil Aviation Organization, ICAO .

In the workshop, the head of the authority, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Qadir pointed out the importance of the workshop in developing and updating the work of the authority and its sectors, identifying obstacles and problems and developing solutions to them.

He stressed the authority’s interest in training and qualifying its cadres technically and professionally to serve its work at the local and international levels .

Abdul Qadir explained that the aggression destroyed the equipment, technical equipment, communications and communication devices and radars in airports, pointing to overcoming many problems and difficulties, finding alternatives and achieving achievements, including restoring the readiness of Sana’a airport to operate, despite the continuing aggression and siege.

While the Director General of Planning and Quality at the Authority, Hashem Abdel Qader, reviewed the achievements made within the authority’s plan for the past year in the sectors of safety, navigation, meteorology, airports, public administrations, achievement rates, problems and obstacles.

At the conclusion of the workshop, which was attended by a member of the authority’s board of directors, representative of the Ministry of Finance, Anam al-Shahari, the assistant agents for the Authority’s sectors and general managers, the distinguished sectors and departments were honored in preparing their plans that achieved the highest achievement rate.
