Al-Junaid and Al-Shami briefed on the progress of the training process at the Civil Aviation Institute

 

The Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs, Chairman of the Executive Office of the National Vision Department, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, and the Minister of Transport, Zakaria Al-Shami, briefed today on the progress of the training process for participants in the National Strategic Planning Course for the National Vision Department, which was launched yesterday at the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology.

 

In the session, the Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs emphasized the interest and keenness of the Ministry of Transport in training and rehabilitation, especially in the national strategic planning course, which it relies on greatly in translating it on the ground during the next year 2021 plan or at the level of the five-year plan.

 

He pointed out that the national strategic planning cycle assumes great importance in building the state and its needs to advance Yemen’s future in all developmental and economic fields.

He explained that the outputs of the National Strategic Planning Program, and the concepts and visions that the participants gain, and the exchange of experiences and information, will facilitate the preparation of the second phase plan of the National Vision 2021-2025 AD.

 

The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that all state institutions, through adopting the principle of strategic planning, have become more systematic, able and persistent in implementing the plans and programs of the first phase and achieving success and outstanding performance as one of the goals of the National Vision.

For his part, the Minister of Transport emphasized that the national strategic planning course comes in implementation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi and the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, since strategic planning is the basis for construction and reconstruction.

He pointed out that one of the priorities of the government, the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated bodies and institutions during the next year 2021 is to pay attention to the staff and the human element, training, implementing and completing financial and administrative automation, which in turn will work to combat and reduce corruption.

 

The Minister of Transport explained that strategic planning is a process of predicting the future and possessing the ability to deal with the variables of the potential reality by studying the environmental factors affecting.

The Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs and the Minister of Transport were briefed on some of the courses held at the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, which began simultaneously with the strategic planning course, and heard from the Institute’s director, Dr. Naji al-Sahmi, about the institute’s work progress and the plans it pursues in implementing the training process throughout the year.

 

Al-Sahmi explained that the institute is implementing training plans approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) with a training staff that has extensive experience in the field of civil aviation
