Al-Junaid: Ministry of Transport’s activities in the second phase of the national developmental vision

The Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs, Head of the Executive Office of the Vision Department, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, confirmed that most of the Ministry of Transport’s activities in the second phase of the National Vision 2021-2025 AD include developmental strategic projects in the transport sector.

In launching a workshop on analyzing the current situation within the National Strategic Planning Program at the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated bodies and institutions, Al-Junaid indicated that analyzing the current situation is an important path upon which plans and programs are based for the next five years.

He said, “On the construction front, we are all concerned with exerting more efforts and upgrading our business and the performance of our institutions, and feeling the responsibility and honesty entrusted to us towards this country.”

He added, “The Yemeni people are counting on the serious orientations of the Supreme Political Council and the Salvation Government in implementing the national vision in a way that parallels the victories that the army and the popular committees have.” He noted that the Ministry of Transport dealt with the national vision and the first stage plan.

For his part, the Minister of Transport considered the national vision to build the modern Yemeni state as a work program for the next stage, pointing out that interaction with the national vision will come through serious work in the field and translating it into reality.

He urged the heads of the ministry’s bodies and institutions to make more efforts to implement the second phase of the vision in a way that would contribute to developing the areas of air, land and maritime transport, stressing that the projects of the bodies and institutions of the Ministry of Transport submitted to the Executive Office of the National Vision Management are proceeding according to the agreed plans.
