Al-Nuaimi and Al-Junaid honor the participants in the public policy-making program

 

Member of the Supreme Political Council Muhammad Saleh Al-Nuaimi and Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs Mahmoud Al-Junaid today honored the participants in the training program in public policy-making.

The program, organized by the National Vision Advisory Group, funded by the Skills Development Fund, included theoretical and practical training for 90 participants and the participation of 45 parties in the Office of the Presidency, the judiciary and the government in public policy-making in terms of preparation, design, analysis, formulation, approval and implementation.

In the honorary ceremony, Al-Nuaimi urged the participants from the leaders of government institutions to apply the knowledge and skills they acquired during the training period.

He stressed the importance of the participants ’role in improving the performance of the government agencies they represent by preparing policies related to the National Vision Plan for building the modern state.

He pointed out the importance of the program, which comes within the framework of strengthening the relationship between the methodology of national strategic planning and the general policy of preparing and building the second phase plan for the national vision in accordance with international standards and modern methodologies.

In turn, the Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs indicated the importance of training programs and their role in enhancing the capabilities of the administrative cadres of government leaders and enabling them to contribute effectively to building the modern state.

While the Secretary of the Supreme Political Council, Acting Head of the Technical Unit for Follow-up and Evaluation at the Presidency Office, Dr. Yasser Al-Houri, appreciated the positive attitude of government agencies during the implementation of the training program.

He praised the level of organization of the program, which aimed to build the capacity of policy analysts for decision-makers in public service units.

For his part, the head of the Central Bureau of Statistics, Ahmed Ishaq, urged the participants to enhance their capabilities and knowledge that they gained during the training period and to refine it through practical experience.

He pointed out that public policies work to organize ideas to help decision-makers and enable them to make the right decisions.

For his part, the Executive Director of the Skills Development Fund, Abdullah Al-Hadi, expressed the fund’s readiness to contribute with the concerned authorities to support training programs that qualify administrative staff and enable them to perform their duties to the fullest.

He noted the role of the participants in the program in the successful implementation of the plans of the national vision for building the state through the proper application of the knowledge and information they acquired during the training period.

During the session, the participants received skills on the models for drawing and reviewing policies approved by the Supreme Political Council and the Council of Ministers, which will be implemented during the implementation of the second phase plan 2021-2025 AD.
