CAMA:- Minister of Transport inspects the level of job discipline

Minister of Transport, Abdulwahab Al-Durra, inspected the level of job discipline in the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology on the second working day after the Eid al-Adha holiday.

Minister Al-Durra, along with Dr. Muhammad Abdul Qadir, was briefed on the progress of work in the aviation safety, meteorology and airports sectors and the achievements it has achieved during the past period in developing the authority’s work and services at the local and international levels.

Al-Durra praised the discipline of workers in the sectors of the Civil Aviation Authority, urging the integration of efforts, enhancing performance and improving the services provided by the authority in its various sectors.

He pointed to the importance of developing and modernizing the civil aviation and meteorological sectors, expressing the ministry’s readiness to provide facilities to the Authority’s sectors, enabling them to carry out their various tasks, especially training and qualifying the authority’s cadres technically and professionally to keep pace with providing quality navigational services in the field of civil aviation.

Minister Al-Durra stressed that the civil aviation and meteorology sector is an important economic tributary that contributes to the development of the national economy through the air navigation and humanitarian services it provides.

He was accompanied during the visit by the Chargé d’Affairs of Yemeni Airlines, Abdul-Malik Mutaher, and the Assistant Undersecretaries of the Aviation Authority for the Safety Sector, Dr. Abdul Hamid Abu Talib, and Meteorology Engineer Mohammed Saeed.
