Completion of heavy maintenance work (C-Check) for the Airbus A320-200 aircraft with the code (7O-AFF)

A ceremony was held at the Yemenia Airlines Maintenance Center at Sana’a International Airport to honor the completion of heavy maintenance work (C-Check) for the Airbus A320-200 aircraft with the code (7O-AFF), under the auspices of both Yemenia Airlines and the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology.

Brother Yahya Mohammed Al-Sayani, Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works and Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, appreciated the efforts of the cadres who completed the periodic maintenance work.

In turn, Brother Khalil Ali Jahaf, Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemenia Airways, praised this achievement that was accomplished in exceptional circumstances and within a record period of time, after a hiatus from implementing these works for nearly ten years due to the political situation and the closure of Sana’a Airport.

He extended his thanks to the Ministry of Transport and Public Works as well as the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology for their effective and continuous supervision, in accordance with the highest standards of safety and quality in the aviation sector.
