Discuss priority projects for the Ministry of Transport and its affiliates

 

A meeting held  in Sana’a, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs, Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, discussed priority service and investment projects in the various fields of transport and agencies affiliated to the Ministry of Transport for the year 1445 AH, according to the available financing capabilities and opportunities.

At the meeting, Dr. Maqbouli stressed the keenness to absorb the service and investment projects of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution and the Supreme Political Council, pointing out the importance of focusing priorities on the qualitative and basic tasks of the Ministry while ensuring the ease and possibility of translating them into executable projects.

While the Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahhab Al-Durra, stated that the strategic plans to develop work in the ministry and its affiliated bodies and institutions were keen to overcome the problems in the various fields of transport and facilitate their implementation according to the resources available to each party.

A number of officials in the agencies affiliated with the Ministry of Transport had indicated that the plan included the urgent needs for the ministry’s services, especially those related to the development and rehabilitation of ports, airports, air navigation and meteorological services
