Discussing the arrangements of the port of Hodeida to receive the ships of oil derivatives

A meeting at the headquarters of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation in the port of Hodeida, Monday 4-4-2022 AD, headed by the Minister of Transport, Major General Amer Ali Al-Marani, discussed the technical and logistical arrangements to  receive the oil derivatives ships that were agreed to enter the port of Hodeida.

After the truce announced on Friday 03/31/2022 AD by the United Nations through the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, which included, in addition to the ceasefire, the partial opening of Sana’a airport and the port of Hodeida.

The meeting, in the presence of the CEO of the Corporation, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, his deputy, Engineer Yahya Abbas Sharaf Al-Din, the Deputy CEO of the Oil Company, Muhammad Hassan Al-Lakumi, and the Director of the Oil Company in Hodeida, Adnan Al-Jarmozi, confirmed the port’s readiness to receive food and oil supplies.

The majority of Yemenis view the armistice, which comes after 7 years of war and siege led by the coalition of aggression, with great optimism, hoping that it will lead to comprehensive peace in the coming period.
