A meeting in Sana’a today, chaired by Minister of Transport Zakaria Al-Shami, discussed the level of implementation of projects and programs at the Ministry of Transport, its agencies and affiliated institutions, in accordance with what was included in the national vision in its first phase 2019-2020.
The meeting, in the presence of the technical unit team to follow up and evaluate the implementation of the national vision in the office of the presidency of the republic headed by Anas Sinan and head of the main executive unit at the Ministry of Transport, Engineer Nazir Al-Dabai, and heads of the executive units in the bodies and institutions affiliated with the ministry, focused on the achievements that the Ministry of Transport implemented during the first phase of the national vision and the difficulties encountered in implementation .
In the meeting, the Minister of Transport stated that the Ministry and its affiliated bodies and institutions have implemented many projects and programs included in the first phase of the national vision for building the modern state.
He referred to the projects that have been launched and work is underway, including the heavy transport truck parking project in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, which will make a quantum leap in the field of road transport, developing revenues, organizing transport and reducing congestion in Hodeidah.
He stressed that the projects of the Ministry of Transport and the affiliated bodies and institutions need support and a long period of time, as they are strategic projects that go through several stages during their implementation, especially those destroyed by the aggression.
While the head of the technical team to follow up and evaluate the implementation of the vision in the Presidential Office noted the efforts he had witnessed in the projects and activities implemented at the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated bodies within the first phase of the national vision to build the Yemeni state.
