Discussing the technical needs of the single window project in the port of Hodeidah

A meeting in the port of Hodeidah, chaired by the head of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Mohammed Abu Bakr Ishaq, discussed the technical needs of the single window project in the port of Hodeidah.

 

The meeting, in the presence of the Chairman of the General Authority for Investment, Dr. Yasser Al-Mansour, reviewed the mechanism and requirements for starting the implementation of the window building project, according to the designs prepared for the project.

 

In the meeting, Captain Ishaq discussed the role of the technical aspect of the project and the specifications of its completion in order to achieve the highest level of efficiency of procedures and smooth handling of services.

 

He directed the speedy implementation of the one-stop-shop project for the services provided by the Corporation’s ports and the port community to its clients, in a way that enhances navigational activity and speeds up the turnover of procedures for unloading and transporting ship cargo.

 

While the Chairman of the Investment Authority praised the efforts of the Ports Corporation, specialists and engineers who are preparing for this project to see the light on the ground in order to serve the commercial and navigational process and facilitate customers and link it to one side through a single electronic window.

 

During the meeting, the technicians and engineers of the Corporation presented the technical aspects of the services provided by the Corporation to the public of its clients and investors, and the process of facilitating and simplifying the overall procedures.

 

The presentation included an explanation of the process of integration in the work cycle between the Ports Authority, the port community, importers and dealers in order to raise the level of performance and speed up the service of commercial and navigational operations that pass through the port of Hodeidah in order to save time and effort.
