Discussing the technical office’s evaluation of the national vision for the transport sector

The main executive unit of the national vision for building the modern state at the Ministry of Transport discussed in its meeting today, headed by Minister Zakaria Al-Shami, the evaluation of the Technical Office of the National Vision and what has been achieved during the last period in the transport sector .

The meeting, in the presence of the head and members of the Ministry’s Executive Unit, reviewed the achievements made in the first phase and the obstacles that faced implementation, most notably the time period and funding.

It discussed the implementation progress of the projects and activities included in the second phase plan in the bodies and institutions of the ministry and the models for analyzing the current situation of the ministry and its affiliated bodies and institutions .

The Minister of Transport emphasized the importance of working on the methodology of the plans and programs that were prepared during the current year and following up and evaluating what the ministry’s bodies and institutions have accomplished .

He pointed out that the projects of the Ministry of Transport and its various sectors, land, sea and air, are strategic development projects of great importance, stressing keenness to develop and modernize transportation areas during the next stage
