Hodeida port meeting discusses ways to support needs of Kamaran Island

A meeting in the port of Hodeida discussed ways to support the Kamaran Island district and its needs in the fields of electricity and water.

In the meeting, the head of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Muhammad Ishaq, directed the provision of ten thousand liters of diesel as an emergency community contribution from the corporation to support the operation of electricity and water services on the island, especially with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

He considered the contribution of the Red Sea Ports Corporation to support part of the needs of the residents of Kamaran Island, in light of the repercussions of the exceptional stage the country is going through, as a humanitarian duty to alleviate the suffering of citizens.

While the director of the Kamaran Island district, Abdo Madani, reviewed the most prominent needs of the island’s residents in light of the challenges and difficulties of the current stage.

In turn, the regional director of the Hayel Saeed Group, Marwan Abdel Daem, expressed his willingness to support the island in this regard.
