Meteorologists expect cloudy weather in mountainous highlands and coastal areas

 

The National Center of Meteorology expects cloudy weather in the mountainous heights and coastal areas during the next 24 hours.

The center stated in its weather bulletin , that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy, gradually turning into cloudy in the afternoon due to the formation of cumulus clouds, which are likely to be accompanied by rain of varying intensity accompanied by thunder sometimes on separate parts of the mountain range.

The weather will be clear to partly cloudy, hot and humid during the day, and the opportunity is ready for scattered rain on parts of the eastern coasts and adjacent areas, and moderate-speed winds are active on the western coasts, and the maximum speed may reach 24 knots, working on sea turbulence and high waves, especially on the southern parts of the country. The center indicated that the weather in the desert areas will be healthy and dry hot during the day, with the possibility of scattered pieces of low clouds forming on parts of them, and the winds are moderate from northeast to southeast, active during the noon hours, working to stir up dust and sand.

In the Socotra Archipelago, the weather will be partly cloudy in general, and the winds will be north to northeasterly, with speeds ranging from 5 to 15 knots.

The center alerted citizens in the areas expected to have rain from the flow of torrents in the reefs and valleys, calling not to be present in the torrential streams during and after the rains.

He also warned citizens in the desert regions, the interior plateaus and the coastal areas, especially the eastern ones, of the hot weather during the day, and sea-goers in the southern parts of the Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab of sea turbulence and high waves
