Meteorology expects cold weather and fog during the coming hours

The National Center of Meteorology expected cold and relatively cold weather in several governorates, and fog will form on the heights during the next 24 hours.

The center stated in its weather forecast that cold weather is expected during the night and early morning in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar and Al-Bayda.
And a relatively cold atmosphere in the heights of the governorates of Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Al-Dhalea, Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout.
The center indicated that fog and water mist may form on the heights of the governorates of Hajjah, Al-Mahweet, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Al-Dhalea, Taiz and Abyan.
According to the center, active to very fast winds are likely to blow on the south of the western coast and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, with a maximum speed of 28 knots, working on sea turbulence and wave height.
And he stated that the lowest temperatures recorded in some meteorological stations this morning were as follows: Dhamar: 5.2, Amran: 6, Sana’a: 6.6, Al-Seddah: 8.
The center called on citizens and farmers in cold regions, as well as travelers to them, to take the necessary precautions against the cold weather.
He warned motorists on roads and mountain slopes of low horizontal visibility due to fog or water turbulence.
He also alerted sea-goers and fishermen in the south of the Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab of sea turbulence and high waves.
