Meteorology forecasts low rainfall and high temperatures

The National Center of Meteorology expects a noticeable decrease in the amount of rain in most governorates of the Republic, accompanied by a rise in high temperatures in the desert areas during the coming days.

 

The center said in a warning bulletin that it expected rain of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, sometimes on different parts of the mountain range of the mountains of Taiz and Lahj governorates in the south to Saada in the north .

 

He pointed out that the rains may extend to parts of the western coasts with a noticeable decrease in the amount of rain on most areas accompanied by a rise in high temperatures on parts of the desert areas, which may reach more than 38 degrees Celsius .

 

The Center advised the citizens in those areas not to risk crossing the valleys, or being in or near them, during and after the rains, in order to preserve their safety .

 

He called on the citizens of the desert regions to take the necessary precautions from the rise in the high temperatures and not to be exposed to direct sunlight at noon .
