Minister of Transport discusses the difficulties and development needs of the administrations of the Red Sea Ports Corporation

 

a meeting at the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation , Sunday, headed by the Minister of Transport, Amer Ali Al-Marani, which included the Deputy for Maritime and Ports Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Nimr, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, his deputy, Engineer Yahya Abbas Sharaf El-Din, and the general managers of the departments.

The meeting discussed the progress of work in various departments, evaluating their performance during the last period, the activity of berths and containers, the difficulties and required needs and ways to overcome them according to the available capabilities to upgrade the navigational services and the mechanism used in the development and improvement of revenues.

At the meeting, the Minister of Transport praised the remarkable efforts made by the leadership and employees of the Corporation and its role in maintaining the continuity of its work in light of the brutal US-Saudi aggression and their dedication in performing the duties assigned to them efficiently and effectively.

He urged the general managers to evaluate the activities of the departments and develop visions that contribute to improving performance and enhancing work, stressing the need to develop strategic plans aimed at developing the performance of the institution and improving its navigational services to improve what it offers to various ships and ships.

He stressed the importance of translating the current trends of the state and the leadership of the ministry and the institution in line with the national vision of building the modern Yemeni state.

Minister Al-Marani pointed out the need for the departments’ plans and programs to contribute to achieving positive indicators in light of the repercussions of the continued aggression and siege… praising the various tasks, activities and qualitative services that the institution accomplished during the past period.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation reviewed the strategic development projects for the next phase and the overall efforts made by the Corporation in raising the level of performance and organizing work affairs in various aspects, and the features of the current year’s plan, which aims to enhance the gains and achieved achievements required by the current phase in a way that enables support and improvement of the Corporation’s conditions.
