Minister of Transport inspects Sana’a International Airport and the Civil Aviation Sports Club

Minister of Transport, Abdulwahab Al-Durra, and CAMA’s chairman, Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Qader, inspected the workflow at Sana’a International Airport.

Urge them to familiarize themselves with the organized arrangements in the departure and arrival halls, the Bilqis hall for “first class” passengers and the two honorary halls for VIPs.

They heard from the Director of Sana’a Airport, Khaled Al-Shayef, an explanation of the services provided to passengers arriving and departing through Sana’a Airport to Jordan, the flights of the staff of the United Nations and its affiliated organizations, safety and air navigation procedures, and the needs of developing and modernizing the airport’s work.

Al-Durra praised the technical performance and the navigation and ground services at Sana’a Airport, stressing the interest in travelers, especially the sick.

He pointed to the interest of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a International Airport, as it provides high-end humanitarian services and works in accordance with international requirements and conditions.

In turn, Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Qader, stressed the keenness to develop and modernize the airport’s work according to the available capabilities.

In addition, Minister of Transport and CAMA’s chairman was briefed on the services of the Civil Aviation Club, and the club’s grand hall that was bombed by the aggression.

Al-Durra Minister directed that the lounge needs be provided and equipped as soon as possible.
