Minister of Transport inspects the progress of work and training at the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology

The Minister of Transport, Abdulwahab Yahya Al-Durra, and with him the deputy  of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Raed Jabal, inspected the workflow of the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology and the training of the authority’s cadres in the fields of civil aviation.

Minister Al-Durra was briefed on the training halls, the advanced educational means, the advanced training curricula of the institute, and the development plans and programs that accompany the important training process in the field of civil aviation and meteorology.

The Minister of Transport heard from the Director of the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, Dr. Naji Al-Sahmi, an explanation of the training process at the Institute, from which, since its establishment, 10,000 trainees have graduated in the field of civil aviation and meteorology in the technical, financial, administrative and human development aspects.

Minister Al-Durra praised the efforts exerted and the attention paid to training and rehabilitation by the Institute’s management, urging further development, modernization and keeping pace with what contributes to developing the capabilities of the authority’s employees and its various sectors to ensure the provision of professional technical services in the areas of air navigation at the local and international levels.

He stressed the ministry’s readiness to provide all aspects of support and to overcome the difficulties faced by the institute and work to solve them according to the available capabilities.. Pointing out that the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council pay great attention to training, rehabilitation and developing human capabilities to advance Yemen’s future in all fields.
