Minister’s Speach

I highly appreciate the great trust that the political leadership has placed in me in appointing me to this important ministry.  Transport sectors are an important tributary and a strong nerve of the national economy.

The Ministry of Transport, with its land, air and maritime sectors, bodies and institutions, is among the articulated and overlapping ministries with many ministries and institutions, and it has complementary relations with the private sector and national capital.

In order to raise the level of performance of the Ministry with its important work and activities, and to update its plans for the future;  We will seek to adopt a national strategy for land, sea and air transport, to anticipate the future and address the shortcomings that the transport sector suffers from, especially after the systematic destruction of its facilities and capabilities for the past seven years of aggression and economic blockade.

This strategy will meet the horizons and goals set by the national vision for building a modern civil state.

We affirm our serious and responsible work to implement what we aspire to in the leadership of the Ministry of Transport to advance government work and the national economy.  Indeed;  Especially as the beloved Yemen is looking forward to the prospects of victory, peace and reconstruction thanks to the legendary steadfastness of the great Yemeni people who will be immortalized by history.

Let the historical words engraved in the hearts of all Yemenis and launched by the martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad, be a motivator and beacon to all of us (“ hand to protect and hand to build ”).
