Ministry of Transport and Public Works launches the Ramadan Cultural Program
The Ministry of Transport and Public Works and its affiliated bodies and institutions launched today the Ramadan program for the year 1446 AH.
In the inauguration, in the presence of the heads of the bodies and institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and its various sectors, Minister of Transport and Public Works Muhammad Ayyash Qahim stressed the importance of sensing the blessed month of Ramadan in which the Qur’an was revealed and its spirituality with special worship and obedience for the sake of God.
He pointed out the importance of benefiting from the lessons and sermons through the lectures of Sayyed Al-Qaed for their importance in strengthening the spirit of faith emanating from the Holy Qur’an.
He urged everyone to revive the Ramadan days through the Ramadan cultural program and to be patient, do good deeds, benevolence and the spirit of social solidarity by checking on the conditions of the poor and needy.
In turn, Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works, Chairman of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority Yahya Al-Sayani reviewed the objectives of fasting and charity, and how to prepare to revive the days and nights of Ramadan, which requires everyone to focus on performing acts of worship, reciting the Quran, and listening to the lectures of the Leader of the Revolution.
He said, “The month of Ramadan is an opportunity for the Muslim to return to God and purify the soul by reciting the Quran and performing various acts of worship such as fasting, charity, and zakat, and to work to make the month of Ramadan a starting point for strengthening the faith identity.” The inauguration was also attended by a number of officials in the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, heads of its affiliated bodies and institutions, Undersecretary of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority Aref Hassan Musleh, Assistant Undersecretaries of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Directors General, and employees of the Ministry, its bodies and institutions.
