In the event, which was attended by the Deputy Ministers of Water, Haneen Al-Dreeb and Communications, Dr. Hashem Al-Shami, the governorate’s representatives, members of the local authority, the executive and supervisory office, security and military leaders, academics and social figures, Dr. Maqboli indicated that the state’s day is a revival of one of God’s rituals, which has a historical depth and an important occasion in Muslim life.

He pointed out that the state day represents a way out for the nation in the time of submission, zionism, and the assumption of the Jews, indicating that this memory makes the nation able to fulfill the responsibility it was entrusted with.

The Deputy Prime Minister considered the principle of guardianship a guarantee to protect the nation from the largest penetration process that it suffers from to date.. Pointing out that the celebration of this anniversary is the embodiment of, imitating, following and renewing the covenant and loyalty to God and His Messenger and those whom God has commanded to take over.

While the governor of Dhamar Al-Bakhiti said, “We infer from the Qur’anic verses about the mandate that the matter means the nation in the completion of its religion with the mandate of God, His Messenger and the believers.”

He referred to those who objected to the mandate order, who mobilized the forces of falsehood in the aggression against Yemen in an attempt to subjugate it to the assumption of America and Israel and to abandon the mandate of God, His Messenger and Imam Ali.

Governor Al-Bakhiti stressed that the dispute today is about the origin of the mandate, and not over the identity of who we are responsible for, which confirms America’s annoyance with the Yemeni people’s celebrations on State Day.

For his part, the director of the Guidance Office in the governorate, Abdullah Al-Lahji, considered the state’s day as an extension of the day when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, stood in Ghadir Khum, addressing the Muslims, “Whosoever I am his master, then Ali is his master.”

He stressed the importance of commemorating this anniversary to follow the example of Imam Ali, may God be pleased with him, and to follow his path in confronting the arrogant, supporting the truth and repelling falsehood.

Al-Lahji pointed out that the Guardianship Day will continue to be present throughout the generations, and the celebration today is only in response to what God commanded the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
