President Al-Mashat receives the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen

 

President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat , received  the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen, William David Grisley.

During the meeting, they discussed the humanitarian situation in Yemen as a result of the continued aggression and siege.

During the meeting, President Al-Mashat touched on the suffering and human tragedy suffered by all the Yemeni people as a result of the siege, especially patients, many of whom died because they were unable to travel abroad for treatment due to the closure of Sana’a International Airport.

He stressed that the US blockade of Yemen is a war crime that affects the lives of more than 25 million Yemenis, and that the countries of aggression, led by America, have worked during the last period to thwart the former UN envoy and are working to thwart the new envoy by preventing them from achieving any progress in humanitarian entitlements and in Introduction Lifting the siege and restrictions on ports and the ban on Sana’a International Airport.
