Qahim, Atifi, and Al-Washli greet employees and workers on duty at Yemeni Red Sea ports.

The Minister of Transport and Public Works, Major General Mohammed Ayash Qahim, the Governor of Hodeidah Governorate, Major General Abdullah Otaifi, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Mr. Zaid Ahmed Taha Al-Washli, paid an Eid visit to employees, workers, and Coast Guard personnel on duty at Hodeidah ports during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

 

During the visit, which was accompanied by the Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, Mr. Mohammed Halisi, the delegation exchanged Eid al-Fitr greetings with the on-duty personnel and presented them with Eid gifts. They considered their continued performance of duties during the Eid holiday a vivid example of steadfastness, dedication, and the fulfillment of their sacred duty for the public interest.

 

During the visit, they were briefed on the progress of operations at Hodeidah port facilities, the extent of the on-duty personnel’s commitment to working around the clock in accordance with their duties, and the level of effort exerted in performing their duties.
They commended the efforts of the Corporation’s employees and workers and Coast Guard personnel in serving the Hodeidah ports and enhancing security, maritime traffic, and trade. They also praised the interaction of the shift workers and their commitment to ensuring the continuity of port services and operations, as well as their ability to spend the Eid holiday in the field.

 

For their part, the employees and workers at the operational facilities at the Red Sea ports expressed their gratitude for the visit and the inspection of their conditions during the Eid holiday. They affirmed their continued commitment to enhancing the Corporation’s role in serving the interests of the Yemeni people.

 

They also visited the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Hodeidah. The visitors recited Surat Al-Fatiha for the souls of the great martyrs and expressed pride in their sacrifices in defending the homeland, its sovereignty, freedom, and independence, in support of the religion of God Almighty.

 

Following this, the Director General of the Office of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Mr. Ali Al-Ansi, along with the Director General of Docks and Yards, Mr. Jaber Kulayb, and the Director of Ras Isa Port, Mr. Ibrahim Muqbil, paid an Eid visit to the on-duty staff at the Salif Port. They exchanged Eid greetings and presented them with Eid gifts on this great religious occasion.
