Russian Foreign Ministry: The actions of the US Air Force threatened the safety of civil aviation over the Black Sea

The Russian Foreign Ministry criticized the actions of aircraft of the US Air Force over the Black Sea, noting that it posed a threat to the safety of flights of civilian aircraft in the region

Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote on her channel in “Telegram”, Sunday: “The actions of the US Air Force have endangered the safety of civil aviation. If the risk of an air disaster over the waters of the international Black Sea is removed this time, this does not mean that the United States and NATO can continue endangering people’s lives with impunity.”

On Saturday, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency reported that a CL-600 NATO reconnaissance plane crossed the paths of civil aircraft over international waters in the Black Sea.

She added that the flight crew did not respond to the warnings of the Russian air traffic services, stressing that flights of this type pose a great danger to the safety of the navigation of civil aircraft.
