Starting two courses in computer leadership, firefighting and rescue

 

At the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, two training courses began, the first in the field of computer driving – the International License “ICDL” and the second in driving and operating firefighting and rescue vehicles.

The first course, over a period of two months, aims to provide 16 participants from the Ministry of Transport with knowledge about information technology, computer skills and its applications, and unify the foundations of measuring informational knowledge. The second course, over a month and a half, aims to train 25 participants from Sana’a International Airport in the field of firefighting and rescue.

In the opening, the Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, urged the participants to take advantage of the two sessions, which would contribute to acquiring technical skills that would contribute to the advancement of work and the advancement of various fields of transport.

He stressed the need for interaction and attention with the axes of the two courses, pointing out the importance of these courses to develop the technical and professional capabilities of all workers in the transport sectors.

The opening was attended by the Dupty of the Civil Aviation Authority and Meteorology, Raed Jabal, and the Director of the Aviation Institute, Dr. Naji Al-Sahmi
