Including (6,621,701,078) $ six billion, six hundred and twenty-one million, seven hundred and one thousand and seventy-eight dollars, as damages to the air transport sector represented by the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology and its various sectors, and the Yemeni Airlines and Al Saeeda Airlines.
While the damages and losses to the maritime transport sector represented by the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation and the General Authority for Maritime Affairs amounted to (4,872,332,020) $ four billion, eight hundred and seventy-two million, three hundred and thirty-two thousand and twenty dollars.
The damages and losses to the land transport sector represented by the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs and the Local Corporation for Land Transport amounted to (824,595,865) $ eight hundred and twenty-four million five hundred and ninety-five thousand eight hundred and sixty-five dollars.
Ministry Of Transport And Its Authorities And Corporations make it clear in this statement that despite the aggression and all the damages and losses it mentioned in this statement, they did not stand idly by. Rather, they prepared plans and programs with emergency and purposeful studies to restore the technical readiness of these facilities to a minimum and relied on loyal national human capabilities to carry out their duties despite the lack of Possibilities and economic blockade.
Ministry Of Transport And Its Authorities And Corporations confirm that they have achieved technical and professional successes and achievements and acceptable operational readiness and are in compliance with international conditions for providing services in the field of air, sea and land transport.
Ministry of Transport renews its call to the United Nations to quickly open Sana’a International Airport and all airports and ports of the Republic of Yemen without conditions or restrictions and to neutralize them from targeting the aggression as civilian objects.
In its statement, Ministry of Transport affirms the right to allow entry to the equipment and necessary for the safety of civil aviation and meteorology, as it is one of the most important conditions for the safety of life.
It is necessary to enable Yemen Airways to operate in its full operational capacity as it was before the aggression, and this is one of our rights guaranteed by international laws, charters, humanitarian norms and international conventions.
We also call on the United Nations to fully open Yemeni airspace to international airlines through the Republic’s airports in general and Sana’a International Airport in particular, and to prevent the coalition of aggression from continuing to practice air and sea piracy on civil aircraft and naval ships, as it is a violation of international laws, regulations and agreements.
Ministry of Transport calls for opening the main roads and land ports to relieve the suffering of the Yemeni people who suffer hardships and losses as a result of their closure and to travel through distant roads that are not qualified to use commercial trucks and collective buses.
The ministry also calls for stopping all provocative practices such as interruptions and bombing of land transport buses, whether by the coalition of aggression or its mercenaries at home, because land transport connects parts of the country and must continue to work safely, as these attacks led to the killing of innocent travelers, expatriates and vehicle drivers, where they are considered These crimes against the Yemeni people are war crimes whose perpetrators are punishable by war.
