The authority participates in the first national conference on cyber security

 

 

The General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology participated in the first national conference for cyber security in Yemen, which was recently organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in cooperation with a number of relevant government agencies.

During the conference, the participating authority’s team presented a working paper entitled (The Importance of Cyber ​​Security for Civil Aviation and Meteorology), which ranked 22nd out of 80 working papers submitted by all governmental and private agencies, institutions and civil society.

The conference aims to know the reality of Yemen in cybersecurity, the challenges it faces, and plans to upgrade it, and to come up with a draft of a national strategy for cybersecurity.
