The conclusion of a course in the field of air law at the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology

The Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology concluded an air law course, which was organized by the Institute, with the participation of 24 employees of the authority, airports and other sectors of the authority.

The course, which lasted for 10 days, aimed to familiarize the participants with international and local laws related to the air, and regulations governing air traffic, and air traffic between countries.

In conclusion, the Director of the Institute, Dr. Naji Al-Sahmi, pointed out the importance of such professional courses that contribute to the development and promotion of the fields of civil aviation and meteorology.

He explained that the advanced air law course, approved by the World Aviation Organization (ICAO), deals with some relevant local laws, and an introduction to definitions, classifications, characteristics of air law and international agreements in the field of air law.

Al-Sahmi indicated that the participants received knowledge and concepts about private and public air law, as well as a summary of the standard rules and their relationship to local laws and judicial control in the field of aviation, and a summary of aviation regulations in the field of air transport.
