The Council of Ministers approves the matrix of emergency needs for the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation

The Council of Ministers, in its periodic meeting today, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, in the presence of Speaker of Parliament Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, approved the matrix of emergency needs for the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, presented by the Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, which represents a necessity to ensure the implementation of the corporation and its ports. In Hodeidah, the tasks entrusted to it, as required, towards ships and ships arriving at the port and carrying various commodities and goods, and preparing to receive large international shipping lines, which have recently been officially requested to return their navigation lines to the ports of Hodeidah directly.

The council directed the ministry, in coordination with the relevant ministries, to provide the required equipment and implement the procedures contained in the matrix.

The matrix included basic equipment and supplies, including marine buoys and gantry cranes, “creams that were targeted by the aggression’s warplanes,” as well as container incubators, as well as administrative and technical requirements.
