The head of the Red Sea Ports inspects the progress of preparing the yards of the container terminal in the port of Hodeidah

Today, Sunday 13-8-1444 AH, corresponding to5-3-2023 AD, the head of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Mohammed Abu Bakr Ishaq, inspected the preparation of the container terminal yards in the port of Hodeidah.

Captain Ishaq was briefed on the work and preparations taking place in the inspection and unloading yards and the yards designated for the shipping companies.

I listened from the General Manager of the Container Terminal, Captain Shawky Ali Murshed, and the specialists to a detailed explanation of the overall work carried out by the General Administration of the Container Terminal, from preparing the yards to receive all container ships, and arranging and organizing containers unloaded from ships arriving at the yards or containers transferred to ships.

The head of the corporation directed all workers in the port community to integrate and work as one team in order to reduce time and effort and speed up the process of inspecting and removing goods and ensuring the speed of their examination until they reach importers and citizens.

He praised the equipment implemented by the cadres working in the general departments of the container terminal, industrial safety and security, the general administration for projects, engineering supervision, services and equipment, and all departments concerned with preparing yards to receive ships expected to arrive at the docks of Hodeidah port.

Accompanying him during the visit were the general managers of the office of the head of the institution, Nabil Al-Majjaji, projects and engineering supervision Sami Maqbouli, planning and statistics Waddah Mujmal, purchases and warehouses Ahmed Salem, technical affairs Fahd Al-Jubbi, services and equipment Yasser Jamah, chief engineer Muhannad Al-Nabhi and deputy director general of services and equipment Mueen Muthanna.
