The issuance of a law amending some articles of Law No. (40) regarding pleadings

 

A law was issued amending some articles of Law No. 40 of 2002 regarding pleadings and civil enforcement, and its amendments.

The law contains (4) articles that are explained as follows:

Article (1): to amend the articles

(14, 57, 86, 91, 104, 105, 111, 157, 190, 216, 228, 236, 240, 241, 252, 276, 294, 300, 501) of Law No. (40) of 2002 regarding pleadings and enforcement Civil.

Article (2): Articles (58, 242, and 269) of Law No. (40) of 2002 regarding pleadings and civil enforcement shall be deleted.

Article (3): An article is added to Law No. (40) of 2002 regarding pleadings and civil execution No. (502 bis) and states as follows:

The Supreme Judicial Council shall work to limit the lengthening and accumulation of cases through regulations and decisions related to the conduct of performance in courts and public prosecutions in order to achieve justice in the easiest and fastest way. Cases must be timed and their outcomes written before they are booked for judgment so that they are subject to the supervision of the Judicial Inspection Authority.

Article (4): This Law shall be enforced from the date of its issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
