The Land Transport Authority completes new projects within the national vision

The General Authority for Land Transport Regulatory Affairs has completed all the preparations for the new public services building project, the complaints department, and the training and rehabilitation center in preparation for the launch of work on them during the coming period.

The head of the authority, Walid Abdullah Al-Waadi,) that the authority has completed the final preparations for the opening of the new building for public services and complaints management within its plan for the national vision for the year 2021, and its operation during the current year.

He stated that the building was equipped with all the needs that accompany the electronic equipment and the requirements needed by the service applicant, and the provision of information and data on all the services provided by the authority.

Al-Wadaei indicated that the authority has paid great attention to the training and rehabilitation center and the development of technical and professional capabilities, which contributes to the advancement of various fields of land transport, through holding courses and workshops to develop the capabilities of the authority’s employees and its branches and enhance their competitive capabilities at the national level to reach the authority to a high level of effectiveness and efficiency in the areas of Road transport.

For his part, the project manager, Abdullah Al-Gharbani, explained that the public service building is commensurate with the volume of demand for transportation services and is equipped with all means of monitoring and electronic systems related to the authority’s system, as well as means of security and safety.

He considered that the Training and Rehabilitation Center would constitute a qualitative leap in the field of training and qualifying national cadres and developing human capabilities, as it was equipped with the latest equipment, means of communication and international training standards and implemented with the highest engineering requirements to implement engineering, technical, administrative and financial courses.
