The meeting of the information security policy preparation team

The Information Security Policy Preparation Team at the Authority held its first meeting , headed by the Director General of Information Technology at the Authority, Yasser Al-Aghbry, in the presence of specialists and those concerned with the authority’s general office and its sectors.

The meeting discussed the primary responsibility of the team represented in developing a security policy for information resources for the authority with the aim of reducing risks, complying with laws and regulations, ensuring continuity of operations, safety and confidentiality of information, as well as disseminating the information security policy among employees in how to deal with information in all its forms, whether electronic, paper or verbal, as well as discussing Preparing a risk management plan.

These measures come within the framework of the national vision to build the modern Yemeni state and the strategy of the National Salvation Government that approved the general policy document for information security in government agencies aimed at digital transformation that requires the flow of information, its safety and the integrity of its systems, and requires preserving information security, enhancing aspects of modernization and following up on commitment by Governmental agencies to enhance the role and importance of information security and the urgent need that has increased with the increase in security threats and risks more than ever before.
