The Minister of Transport and Public Works participates in a march commemorating International Quds Day in Hodeidah.

The Minister of Transport and Public Works, along with the leadership and employees of the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, participated in the massive public march held in the governorate’s events square on Friday afternoon, Ramadan 28, 1446 AH (March 28, 2025 AD).

The march commemorated International Quds Day and affirmed the Yemeni people’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and their rejection of all forms of normalization with the Zionist entity.

Participants in the march, led by Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim, chanted slogans condemning the crimes of the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people.

They emphasized that Palestine is not just a matter of a people or a land, but rather a matter of faith, identity, and dignity, and that any negligence in defending it is a betrayal of the nation’s principles.

The participants also chanted slogans of jihad, emphasizing that Jerusalem will remain the nation’s central issue and that the Yemeni people will continue to support the resistance in Palestine until the liberation of all occupied territories.

The march participants emphasized that the crimes of the Zionist entity will not nullify the Palestinian people’s right to their land, nor will they nullify the resistance’s right to respond to aggression by all legitimate means. They emphasized that attempts to legitimize the occupation or impose it as a fait accompli will not succeed against the will of the resistance, which has proven its ability to change the equations and thwart colonial schemes in the region.

The march participants praised the heroic stances of the Yemeni Armed Forces in supporting Palestine and defending Gaza, by directing qualitative strikes deep within the occupying entity and inflicting heavy losses. They emphasized that these blessed operations are part of a practical response to the Zionist crimes against the oppressed Palestinian people.

The march participants emphasized that the raids launched by the American enemy on various governorates will not intimidate the people or deter them from their steadfast positions. They emphasized that the targeting of civilian facilities reflects the bankruptcy of the aggressors and their inability to achieve any victory on the battlefield.

The march participants pointed out that the American bombing, which targets innocent people while claiming to protect human rights, exposes the falsity of Western slogans and proves that Washington is merely the other face of the Zionist enemy and a major partner in the aggression against the nation. This exposes international double standards and places the responsibility of free peoples to take effective action to break this shameful silence and complicity, and to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people by all possible means.

The march participants emphasized that International Quds Day is not a passing occasion, but rather an annual event to renew the pledge to Palestine, affirm the unity of the nation in the face of occupation and arrogance, and send a clear message that free people will not back down from supporting the resistance until Jerusalem and every inch of Palestinian land are liberated.

They pointed out that the Yemeni people, despite the aggression, siege, and conspiracies, remain the most present in the squares in support of Jerusalem. They noted that their solidarity is not just slogans, but real sacrifices embodied in support of the resistance at all levels—political, military, and popular—so that Yemen is at the forefront of those standing up to the Zionist-American project in the region.

The marchers reiterated their full readiness to engage in the battle to defend the homeland and continue the path of jihad in support of Palestine and the oppressed. They emphasized their commitment to implementing the choices and directives of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and their full readiness for all future stages in the battle to confront the forces of aggression and tyranny.

The participants also reiterated their condemnation of the Arab regimes and rulers’ abandonment of the Palestinian cause and their continued spectatorship of the war of extermination, killing, siege, and starvation to which the Palestinian people are subjected. This exposes double standards and places the responsibility of free peoples to take effective action to break this shameful silence and complicity, and to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people by all possible means.

They warned against the shameful transformation of these regimes into tools serving the Zionist enemy, and even their open hostility toward anyone who supports Palestine or stands with the resistance. This is an ugly image that embodies the extent of their decadence and subservience to the enemies of the nation.

Participants in the march, which coincides with the National Day of Steadfastness in the Face of Aggression and the eleventh year of steadfastness, emphasized that the Yemeni people are steadfast in their stance, continuing their path, unwavering in their resolve, and unaffected by conspiracies, sieges, and targeting.

They noted that the qualitative advances achieved by the Yemeni Armed Forces on various fronts, both internally and in the Red Sea battle, are the fruit of this steadfastness and popular support for the revolutionary leadership. They also represent a practical embodiment of the strategic deterrence equation in the face of the forces of aggression and arrogance.

The statement issued by the march emphasized that International Quds Day is an important milestone in raising awareness of the Palestinian cause, calling for more popular and official mobilization to support the Palestinian people’s struggle and confront the Zionist occupation and its expansionist projects in the region.

The march’s statement considered the Yemeni people’s commemoration of International Quds Day evidence of their sincere faith, their true adherence to sanctities, and their high willingness to sacrifice. It emphasized that the Yemeni people remain at the heart of the battle, bearing witness to the greatness and strength of Islam in confronting the enemies of God and His Messenger.

The march’s statement reiterated its steadfastness in its faith and principled stance, which does not accept compromise or retreat, stating: “We will continue to stand against the Zionist and American enemies in confronting their aggression against Gaza and our homeland.”

The statement praised God Almighty on the tenth anniversary of the National Day of Steadfastness, which has strengthened, guided, and aided the Yemeni people in their resistance against the coalition of aggression. Addressing the enemies, it said: “Just as we have stood firm in the face of the most heinous American-Saudi-Emirati aggression for years, we are fully prepared to stand firm and fight against the imams of disbelief and the masters of hypocrisy.”
