The opening of the information center in the port of Hodeidah
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, and the President of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs, Walid Al-Wadaei, inaugurated today the Information Center at Hodeidah Port.
At the opening, in the presence of the President of the Yemeni General Corporation for the Industry and Marketing of Cement, Qasim Al-Wadie, Captain Ishaq explained that the center, which includes an automatic link network and screens tracking ships through the Marine Traffic site in the corporation’s ports and international ports, represents the first block of the electronic portal for the one window through which all port facilities will be linked. In implementation of the directives of the political leadership and the Ministry of Transport.
He stressed the importance of the center in providing electronic information faster to service seekers, pointing out that the center represents a qualitative addition to the institution in the electronic field and the applications that the institution is keen to take advantage of to facilitate work for those dealing with the institution.
Ishaq praised the efforts made by the Minister of Transport, Major General Zakaria al-Shami, and his keenness to complete the equipment for the center.
During the opening, the director of the center, Eng. Abdullah Hajar, reviewed the technical equipment of the center and the various electronic services it will provide.
The opening was attended by directors of the office of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Nabil Al-Mazjaji, and the departments of Planning and Statistics, Dr. Waddah Majmali, Maritime Operations Affairs, Shawky Murshid, the container terminal, Muhammad Al-Sayyis, and the berths and yards, Khaled Hamid.
