The Red Sea Ports Corporation Martyrs Ramadan Football Championship concludes in Hodeidah.
Wednesday, Ramadan 26, 1446 AH (March 26, 2025 AD), the activities of the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation’s Ramadan Football Championship for the year 1446 AH concluded. The tournament was organized by the Corporation under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office in Al Hudaydah Governorate.
The final match, held at the Citadel Stadium, pitted the Al-Masirah Youth and Al-Rafidain Lions teams, with Al-Masirah Youth winning 3-1.
The closing ceremony was attended by Shura Council member Abdulrahman Makram, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Sea Ports Corporation Mr. Zaid Al-Washli, Director of the Youth Office in the Governorate Imad Al-Barai, Secretary of the Local Authority of the Port Directorate Abdullah Al-Hadi, Directors of the Ports of Al-Salif, Dr. Fouad Al-Kabsi, and Ras Issa Ibrahim Muqbil, and Director of the Office of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ports Corporation Ali Al-Ansi.
At the conclusion, the winning teams were honored with trophies, and certificates of appreciation and cash prizes were distributed to outstanding players. Mutaz Hazaa received the Best Player award, Yaqoub Al-Yemeni received the Best Goalkeeper award, and Abdulrahman Sunbul was crowned the tournament’s top scorer.
