The tug boat descends from the floatation slide after the end of the maintenance work

the program of periodic maintenance of marine floats prepared by the General Administration of Technical Affairs of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation ( YRSPC) and within the framework of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state, technicians and engineers of the marine floatation slide in the port of Hodeidah, on Friday 15/1/2021 AD, unloaded the tug boat from the top of the sea slide after Completion of the required maintenance work.

Engineer / Ahmed Salem Abdullah, Director General of Technical Affairs at the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, stated that the launch was lifted as a pretext on the marine float slides on 7/3/2020 for a comprehensive maintenance of the hull, and the preventive maintenance process for the tug boat was completed in accordance with the requirements of the international class to maintain its readiness And his efficiency to carry out maneuvering, towing and maritime piloting work.

He explained that the maintenance process that was carried out for the yacht was done by cadres, technicians and engineers of the technical department of the corporation and with the participation of technicians of the operation department of the General Department of Maritime Operations of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation.

He emphasized that all maintenance work for marine floats and floats in the marine slides of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation is carried out by trained Yemeni cadres from among the children of the corporation at the lowest economic cost, as maintenance work for marine floats was conducted in basins outside Yemen and cost the state treasury thousands of dollars.

The General Department of Technical Affairs of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation represents the dynamic engine of the corporation’s work, as it has trained and highly qualified technical cadres in various technical and engineering disciplines to carry out all over and underwater maintenance work.
