Training course on enhancing transparency and anti-corruption mechanisms for Ministry of Transport employees

 

 

in Sana’a, a training course on strengthening the mechanisms of transparency, integrity and prevention of corruption began, organized by the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption and the Ministry of Transport within the framework of the national vision to build the modern Yemeni state.

 

The course aims, over a period of one week, to provide 60 trainees from the leaders and employees of the Ministry of Transport, institutions and bodies affiliated with it, and the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption, knowledge about methods and methods of combating and preventing corruption, investigating the investigation, the forms and classifications of corruption and its concept and promoting the values ​​and principles of integrity, transparency and accountability.

 

The session, which is the second of its kind, is part of an awareness program organized by the authority and the ministry and lasts for more than two months, with the aim of promoting transparency and integrity, combating corruption and preventing it in the ministry and its affiliated bodies and institutions.

 

The course deals with financial disclosure systems and their role in preventing corruption and combating illegal enrichment in terms of the concept of financial disclosure and the objectives and law of financial disclosure and its importance, as well as those who must submit a financial disclosure and illicit enrichment, the characteristics of illicit gain and the role of the financial disclosure law in preventing corruption .

 

It focuses on the concept of the right to obtain information and its role in preventing corruption in light of international principles and Yemeni law regarding the right to information, the importance of obtaining information and the obstacles facing it, in addition to steps to strengthen the guarantee of the right to information.

 

The course includes mechanisms and measures to combat and prevent corruption, rules and codes of ethical behavior and their role in promoting transparency and integrity and preventing corruption, as well as procedures for investigation and investigation of corruption crimes, participation and societal accountability and their role in combating and preventing corruption.
