Two cargo planes arrive at Sana’a airport

Two cargo planes belonging to the United Nations Children’s Fund “UNICEF”, the World Health Organization and the United Nations Population Fund arrived at Sana’a International Airport, carrying more than 105 tons of preventive health supplies.

The first UNICEF plane arrived with 77 tons on it, while the second plane belonging to the World Health Organization and the United Nations Population Fund arrived with 28 tons.

The two cargo aircraft Type 747 Jumbo received all the air navigation services in force at various international airports in accordance with the terms and requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The crews of the two aircraft praised the level of ground and air navigation services provided by Sana’a International Airport, confirming the airport’s technical and operational readiness.

It is noteworthy that the Jumbo 747 jumbo planes have landed at Sana’a International Airport several times, which proves the ability of Sana’a Airport to receive various types of modern civil, commercial and relief aircraft of large and medium sizes
