Y R S P C honors the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Training Team with the Foundation’s shield

The leadership of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, represented by Captain / Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, Chairman of the Board of Directors – CEO of the Corporation, and in the presence of Eng. / Yahya Abbas Sharaf al-Din, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, on Wednesday, 11/25/2020 AD, the Training of Trainers Team for Transparency, Integrity and Anti-Corruption of the National Authority The Supreme Council for Combating Corruption and the Ministry of Transport with the Foundation Shield, in recognition of their efforts in training cadres of institutions and agencies of the Ministry of Transport in Al Hudaydah Governorate in integrity, transparency, fighting corruption, and qualifying a training cadre armed with knowledge and knowledge to lead the training process in the governorate.

 

On the sidelines of the honor, Captain / Ishaq, Chairman of the Board of Directors, emphasized the specificity of holding the training program at this time, especially in light of the directions of the political leadership represented by Field Marshal / Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council in combating corruption and his keenness to correct imbalances in state institutions, especially institutions and service bodies, which come as a translation For the national vision to build the modern Yemeni state .

 

Chairman of the Board noted that this partnership between the Ministry of Transport and its institutions and bodies of the Supreme National Commission for the fight against corruption comes in the framework of strengthening transparency mechanisms and the fight against corruption, which is a prerequisite for the application of the principle of accountability to ensure fairness in resource management in the hope that is the training program outputs on the practical fact that the staff of the institution representing One of the fronts of steadfastness, and they should not be affected by any corruption.

 

For his part, Professor / Adel Al-Uqbi, Director of the Awareness, Education and Community Participation Department at the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption, emphasized that this partnership is a beginning, not an end, and comes from the starting point of activating the laws in force in the anti-corruption process, as it represents a participatory process in a fundamental degree between all ministries, bodies and institutions of the state In light of the national vision to build the modern Yemeni state.

 

The Director of Awareness, Education and Community Participation Department at the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption praised the efforts of the leadership of the Ministry of Transport, represented by the Minister of Transport, Major General Zakaria Al-Shami, in making the Ministry a forerunner among the ministries and government institutions in implementing the program in cooperation with the Supreme Anti-Corruption Commission, and working with its recommendations, outputs and application on practical and technical reality. Believing that the process of developing a general framework for the draft code of occupational and ethical conduct for the employees of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation is a great benefit for the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, the Ministry of Transport and the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption, which is the first institution affiliated with the Ministry of Transport to present its employees with a draft code of conduct.
