YRSPC receives a training team, a workshop for enhancing transparency and anti-corruption mechanisms, and a training course for trainers

Within the framework of the partnership between the Ministry of Transport and its affiliates and the High Authority for Combating Corruption

The Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation – Hodeidah Port received the training team for the workshop to enhance transparency and anti-corruption mechanisms and the Training of Trainers (TOT) course in combating corruption organized by the Ministry of Transport and the Supreme Anti-Corruption Commission for the institutions and agencies of the Ministry of Transport in Hodeidah Governorate.

During the meeting, Captain Bin Ishaq welcomed the training team formed from the High Commission for Anti-Corruption and the Ministry of Transport, who will train the candidate brothers from all relevant departments and bodies affiliated with the Ministry of Transport in the city of Hodeidah, as the institution’s role as an economic front for Yemen calls for the adoption of such qualitative courses in A framework for strengthening the culture of combating corruption through its various mechanisms and the most important means used to achieve the principle of integrity and transparency.

The head of the Red Sea Ports Corporation affirmed that these training courses to develop staff capabilities in the field of transparency and anti-corruption that the training team will implement will strengthen the true partnership between the Ministry of Transport, the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation and the Supreme Anti-Corruption Authority to work to build a country free of corruption.

The training team thanked the leadership of the Ministry of Transport, represented by Major General Zakaria Al-Shami, the Minister of Transport, for being one of the ministers in the forefront in spreading awareness and education and holding training courses on the importance of enhancing transparency and combating corruption in the ministry’s office and its institutions and bodies in all governorates of the republic and said that our presence today in Hodeidah governorate is the best proof. On it.

The training team will hold two training workshops on enhancing transparency and anti-corruption mechanisms and a Training of Trainers (TOT) course on anti-corruption for a period of two weeks.

The training team also made an inspection visit to the training hall that will be held for 60 trainees in the port of Hodeidah to see the equipment for the Great Hall on which the training program will be implemented. In the training process.

It is noteworthy that the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation last month issued an ethical document for procurement and tendering employees to deal between employees and merchants dealing with the corporation, and this is an unprecedented achievement for the corporation as the first institution affiliated with the Ministry of Transport and all ministries to issue such a document.
