Discuss security and safety procedures in transport companies

 

The head of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs, Walid Al-Wadi’i, discussed with the head of the Civil Defense Department, Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Madani, , security and public safety procedures in transport companies, urban transport vehicles and goods.

 

The meeting, in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary of the Civil Defense Authority, Brigadier Yahya Al-Mortada, and the directors general of the authority, touched on aspects of cooperation between the Authority and the Authority and holding joint workshops for representatives of offices and transport companies in general on issues related to security and public safety.

 

The head of the Transport Affairs Authority stated that the authority, in cooperation with various relevant authorities, is in the process of preparing a regulation for the transport of hazardous materials.

 

He affirmed the authority’s readiness to provide facilities and cooperate with the defense interest, in everything related to enhancing safety measures for the land transport sector of all kinds.

 

In turn, the head of the Civil Defense Department pointed to the importance of raising awareness among representatives of offices and transport companies of the importance of security and public safety procedures, and holding workshops and training courses for them in this aspect
