Discussing the mechanism for developing the work of the maritime affairs and ports sector

A meeting, headed by Minister of Transport Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, discussed the mechanism for developing and modernizing the work of the maritime affairs and ports sector in a way that contributes to providing humanitarian and maritime navigation services in the Red Sea.
The meeting, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for the Maritime Affairs and Ports Sector, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, reviewed the difficulties facing the sector and its various departments and ways to solve them in the technical and professional aspects.
In the meeting, the Minister of Transport stressed the importance of activating the role of the maritime affairs and ports sector, welcoming Agent Ishaq, who is considered one of the most important maritime transport cadres and worked in various Yemeni ports and contributed to their advancement.
Minister Al-Durra urged everyone to combine efforts and work as one team in order to develop the maritime affairs and ports sector and provide facilities to merchants and citizens, as the maritime sector is one of the most important sectors.
While the Undersecretary of the Maritime Affairs Sector pointed out the importance of the next stage for developing the sector and activating its role, pointing out that the current stage requires a lot of effort, achievement, and fulfillment of international requirements.
