Laying the foundation stone for the expansion and deepening project of fishing port in Hodeidah

The Deputy Minister of Transport, Mr. Muhammad Ahmad Al -Hashemi, with the Preparatory Presidential Committee to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday and the leadership of Al -Hodeidah Governorate, put the cornerstone of the project to expand and deepen the fish port in Hodeidah.

The Deputy Minister of Transport affirmed that the project represents a qualitative transfer in the field of maritime transport and work to create job opportunities and expand the port activity.

He pointed to the interest of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in strategic projects in Al Hudaydah Governorate, because the province represents a strategic location of the importance of the maritime trade line.
