Ministry of Transport launches the projects of the national vision plan for the year 1444 AH

 

Ministry Of Transport And Its Authorities And Corporations launched  a plan for projects, programs and activities of the National Vision for the year 1444 AH.

During the inauguration, Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, affirmed the interest and interaction of the Ministry Of Transport And Its Authorities And Corporations with the path of the National Vision since its launch in 2019, when it was proactive and highly interactive.

He said, “In 2019-2020, we began to develop a simple plan at the level of all state institutions as a start to implement the national vision, and in 2020-2021 we worked in the Executive Office of the National Vision with all ministries in analyzing the current situation at the institutional, sectoral and macro levels.”

He pointed out that the Executive Office of the National Vision works with all executive units in ministries and government institutions to implement projects, plans and programs, as well as to solve difficulties through reports submitted to the office, which contributes to achieving successes on the ground.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs, Dr. Hussein Makbouli, praised the distinguished efforts made by Ministry Of Transport And Its Authorities And Corporations in implementing the directives and guidelines emanating from the national vision and its executive mechanism.

He said: “The transport sector is one of the distinguished sectors that provides various services to the citizen, in a way that contributes to alleviating suffering and alleviating burdens on him despite the aggression, siege and systematic destruction that this vital and important sector has been subjected to.”

He pointed out that Ministry Of Transport And Its Authorities And Corporations are working to implement their projects in coordination with the services and social solidarity sector in terms of preparing priority plans and studies for important service projects.

For his part, the Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, affirmed to move forward with the implementation of projects and economic studies of the highest priority that would achieve successes and strategic objectives for the advancement of the land, sea and air transport sectors.

He pointed out the importance of qualitative strategic projects that will be implemented during the new Hijri year, some of which are self-financing and the other external, noting that the transport sector projects are strategic, based on accurate methodological studies and work in them with utmost technicality as service projects.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Minister of Transport, Mohammed Al-Hashemi, explained that the launch of the New Year 1444 plan for transport projects in its various sectors is a translation of the directives of the Supreme Political Council in a number of important tracks that contribute to alleviating and raising the suffering of the Yemeni citizen.

He pointed out that Ministry Of Transport And Its Authorities And Corporations seek through its current plan to improve services and advance its various sectors, adding that development and modernization will only take place through concerted efforts and joint cooperation.

The head of the main executive unit of the transport sector, Engineer Nazir Al-Dabai, reviewed the components of the 1444 plan and the 37 projects that will be implemented in the fields of air, sea and land transport, including self-financing from the bodies and institutions of the Ministry of Transport and other external financing projects.

During the inauguration, the Deputy Prime Ministers for National Vision, Services and Development Affairs and the Minister of Transport honored the heads of the bodies, institutions and sub-units of the National Vision with certificates of appreciation for what they achieved during the past period.

The inauguration was attended by the undersecretaries of the Ministry of Transport for the various sectors, the head of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, the vice president of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, the directors of the Maritime Affairs Authority in Sana’a, Al-Hodeida, heads and members of the main and sub-units of the transport sector.
