PM lays foundation stone for over YR 8.5 mln projects in capital

 

Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on  laid the foundation stone and inaugurated work on a number of service projects in the capital, Sana’a, at a total cost of 825,505,000 riyals, funded by the Local Council.

Where the Prime Minister, along with the Minister of Transport, Abdel Wahab Al -Durra, the Secretary of the Capital, Hammoud Abbad and the Undersecretary of the Secretariat for the Projects Sector, Eng. Abdul Karim Al -Houthi, laid the cornerstone of the projects of rehabilitation, restoration, maintenance and improvement of the airport street in front of the Sana’a International Airport Hall until the clock tunnel in the measles at a cost of 375 million and 371 thousand riyals.

The Prime Minister and his companions also laid the cornerstone of the project of paving, asphalt, treatment and drainage of rain water in the Qubain neighborhood in the Darish District, the neighborhood unit of 731, with a length of 1600 meters and seven meters width at a cost of 154 million and 414 thousand riyals.

The Prime Minister, Al -Durra and Abbad also put the foundation, and launched work in three projects in the Revolution Directorate, which includes the rehabilitation, restoration and maintenance of the affected sections of the streets located in the square between the Al -Thawra Stadium Stadium “Al -Nasr Street”, TV Street in the west, and 20 Street “Television Educational Channel” in the south And the airport street east with a length of 9600 meters and an average width of 10 meters, “the first stage”, at a cost of 57 million and 598 thousand riyals.

The foundation stone for the rehabilitation, restoration and maintenance of the damaged clips of the streets located in the square between Al -Nasr Street in the north, the central prison street in the south, the airport street in the west, and the liquid in the east in the peoples of Shaoub with a length of nine thousand meters and the average width of 10 meters “the first stage” at a cost of 66 million and 252 one thousand real.

The foundation stone for the rehabilitation of the affected clips of the street was laid between the Imran and airport streets, through the Al -Moayad Mosque and some of the entrances branched from it with a length of 950 meters and a width of 8.5 meters in the amount of 60 million and 52 thousand riyals.

The Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for the projects of Shaq and asphalt and the implementation of concrete phrases for the 14th Street from the 60th Street intersection until the Charitable Society for the Education of the Noble Qur’an, with a length of 300 meters and a width of 14 meters, a total area of ​​4200 square meters in the amount of 73 million and 399 thousand riyals, and the rehabilitation, restoration and maintenance of some streets The surrounding in the Revolutionary Directorate, “Khalaf Al -Rasheed Market”, for the damaged clips with a length of 2000 meters and a width of 10 meters.

To that, the Prime Minister, along with the Minister of Transport and the Secretary of the Capital, inspected the functioning of the sixty -boyfriend’s intersection – an altar, and listened from the Undersecretary of the Secretariat, Engineer Abdul Karim Al -Houthi, on the size of the completion in the tunnel that is expected to open within a period of two months.

The Prime Minister pointed to the importance of the tunnel in dealing with the problem of traffic jams that exist in this region that connects the middle of the secretariat to its northern suburb.

The Prime Minister, in a media statement after the inauguration and the launch of the foundation stone, pointed out the importance of service projects that represent part of the continuous work of the capital’s secretariat with self -financing in the context of its continuous effort to improve the appearance of Sana’a, the capital of all Yemenis.

He expressed a salute to workers in institutions and ministries that interact vibrant with work tasks under the conditions of aggression and the war experienced by the people of the country

Dr. Bin Habtoor highly estimated the efforts of employees and workers who work continuously to rehabilitate the main roads and streets in the secretariat … noting the role of workers in various fields in the general free governorates.

He pointed out that the Salvation Government is keen to continue implementing service and other projects related to the daily lives of citizens despite the scarcity of available resources.

He touched on the deteriorating conditions experienced by the governorates under occupation D and the suffering of citizens in Aden and other governorates and occupied areas, as a result of the lack of basic services, despite the control of customers and mercenaries over more than 90 percent of the state’s public resources.
