The Land Transport Board of Directors discusses the 2024 agenda

the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Land Transport Affairs held its regular meeting to discuss the agenda for the year 2024.

In the meeting, which was chaired by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moayyed, Chairman of the Authority and Chairman of the Board of Directors, the mechanism for moving to electronic collection was discussed by collecting the Authority’s revenues with electronic devices that were examined and approved by the Ministry of Finance to replace the collection vouchers.

Al-Moayad explained the importance of this step and its positive effects in terms of preserving the national currency from damage, as well as saving the expenses of printing collection vouchers, in addition to the transparency of the supply of revenues directly to the Central Bank.

In addition, the meeting praised the financial and administrative reforms undertaken by the Authority during the second half of 2023 and the beginning of the current year, which would correct the financial and administrative path and raise the level of performance at the main center and branches.
The meeting touched on the importance of changing the Authority’s logo in line with the Authority’s tasks and powers and in accordance with globally followed standards.
