Qahim and Atifi Inspect Summer Activities in Al-Mina District, Hodeidah

Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, and Hodeidah Governor, Abdullah Atifi, inspected summer program activities in Al-Mina District today.
During their visit to the Al-Thaghr Summer Center, Qahim, Atifi, and the governorate’s deputy governor, Ali Kabari, along with the Ministry of Public Works’ deputy, Engineer Nabil Al-Haifi, listened to a presentation about the summer programs and activities for participants. They also learned about efforts to strengthen their character, provide them with Quranic knowledge, and develop their skills in various fields during the summer break.
The Minister of Transport and Public Works emphasized the responsibility of everyone to support and ensure the success of the summer programs, noting that they serve as a safeguard for youth against destructive ideologies and contribute to developing their knowledge in ways that benefit their religion and their country.
For his part, the Governor of Hodeidah noted that the widespread public engagement and the high enrollment of children in summer schools reflects the community’s awareness of their importance. He emphasized the local authority’s commitment to overcoming all obstacles and providing available resources to ensure the success of these programs and the development of students’ skills.
The Deputy Governor, Al-Kabari, considered the programs an important educational opportunity to refine students’ talents and protect them from harmful ideologies, highlighting the significant attention given to building the character of the rising generation.
Meanwhile, the Director of Al-Mina District, Abdullah Al-Hadi, reported a large turnout of students for the summer programs, noting the diverse range of programs offered, encompassing scientific, athletic, and cultural aspects.
They were accompanied during the visit by the Director of the Governorate’s Public Works Office, Engineer Mohammed Muthanna, and educational and executive leaders.
